seven-step improvement process
Definition: (ITIL Continual Service Improvement) The
process responsible for defining and
managing the steps needed to identify,
define, gather, process, analyse, present and
implement improvements. The performance
of the IT service provider is continually
measured by this process and improvements
are made to processes, IT services and IT
infrastructure in order to increase efficiency,
effectiveness and cost effectiveness.
Opportunities for improvement are recorded
and managed in the CSI register.
